Nachhaltigkeit

As a company, we are responsible for the future of our next generations. Therefore, we must embrace the challenges of environmental awareness, health, and well-being right from the start. Right at the beginning of our window and door manufacturing process chain, we modernized our production facilities, including CO2-optimized key figures.
GAYKO products themselves are built for the future and are significantly more energy-efficient than traditional windows and doors. Legal requirements and GAYKO's innovations ensure an optimized heat balance with up to a 300 percent improvement in heat transfer losses. A better living environment promotes increased well-being. Live healthier and more efficiently with GAYKO. Energy efficiency sustainably and lifelong conserves valuable resources, such as heating oil and energy.
Anyone who chooses a GAYKO window or door today is opting for high user comfort, energy efficiency, and climate and environmental protection. Even at the end of their life cycle, all GAYKO products can be fully recycled.

Dr. h.c. Joschka Fischer
Former Federal Foreign Minister
"In order to achieve climate protection goals in the long term and minimize dependence on imports, we need renovated building stock that uses energy as intelligently as possible. The first hurdle is raising awareness of the issue of energy efficiency. (…) The huge energy saving potential in the building sector must be clearly communicated.

Jan Hofer
Host, Speaker, ARD Tagesschau
"During the energy-efficient renovation of our single-family home, I was able to see for myself the savings achieved by upgrading the windows and how my living comfort has significantly increased."

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Gerd Hauser
Director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics, Professor of Building Physics, Technical University of Munich, 2009-2014
"The existing building stock must be renovated, above all, with economic efficiency in mind. (…) If we want to solve our climate problems, we have to start in the building sector, and windows play a key role in this area.
"Meeting the standards of the future today"
The science journalist, well-known from radio and television, has put GAYKO windows through their paces. With his scientific acumen, he chose GAYKO windows and doors for his home renovation. With the new windows, GAYKO meets Jean Pütz's high standards for increased thermal insulation. Jean Pütz transformed the once dilapidated old building into a burglar-proof "zero-energy house."
A zero-energy house is an energy-efficiently planned house that, at least mathematically, generates as much energy as it consumes. It is a technical development of the so-called passive house, which already has very low energy consumption. Efficient thermal insulation plays a significant role here.
The window of the future must therefore have very good thermal insulation and be able to utilize solar energy gains through appropriate glazing. This use has a positive impact on the energy balance – preserving valuable resources and the building owner's wallet. With GAYKOLIFE PASSIV V82 MD, an energy-optimized window element was developed that already meets the values of future legal standards. It features a special frame construction and, in combination with the latest thermal insulation glass, achieves the "Passive House Suitable Component" certification. This is effective environmental protection with a future!
